Meet Nina a female cane corso

Nina is a three-month-old Formentino Cane Corso puppy. Formentino refers to her color, a kind of diluted fawn, and she has the typical gray mask.

She was brought to us by her original family after three months, which is a better age for puppies to be separated from their mothers, rather than at just two months old.

In addition to her unique fur color, she has unusual eyes, which might disqualify her from beauty contests in her breed. But we don’t mind, as we have no plans to enter her in such competitions.

We’ve decided to document our journey with Nina because Cane Corsos are considered a ‘challenging’ breed due to their strength and size, and the potential danger they can pose if not properly educated.

This diary also helps us track her development and understand any behaviors that arise, which is ideal when welcoming a new puppy into a family.

Ultimately, we’re sharing this content to help as many dogs as possible throughout their lives with their new families. In doing so, we hope to help you build a deep relationship with your furry friends.

Remember, your dog is a chapter in the book of your life, but you are the whole book of theirs. We believe dogs deserve a wonderful story!
